About me

This world is my temporary home, I live this life but my eternity waits.

I am a husband to one, father to two, a brother to millions more.

Amongst others, I have a desire to share my perspective of this world in the hope it will encourage others to take a fresh take on their surroundings.

I write here and at Sense in the senseless, load photos at both flickr and instagram and send 140 character messages @FIFTY5WORDS.

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that … Every man must decide whether he will walk in the light of creative altruism or in the darkness of destructive selfishness. Martin Luther King Jnr

Not knowing how to fit this into my blog, I’ll answer the questions here… sorry if that’s against the “rules”

My questions for them are :

      1. Tea or coffee? Coffee, double macchiato is my cup

      2. Best piece of advice you have ever been given? Do to others as you would have them do to you. Luke 6:31

      3. Which do you prefer Mountain or Beach? Beach, you can’t swim in a mountain

      4. Biggest lie you ever bought? You cannot kill an imaginary friend

      5. Your dream job? A writer without deadlines and a steady income

      6. Any phobia? Failing as a father

      7. Favourite holiday memory, if any? I’ll always remember Dad pushing my brother and I onto what seemed near certain death wish like 3 foot waves on foam surfboards.

      8. Can you swim? I’m Australian, we can all swim!

      9. Apart from swimming, what should we all try to learn? Juggling, it’ll change your life. As will forgiveness

      10. Do you have a pet? No

      11. Can you recommend an Author? Sure, Roald Dahl – he’s not just for the kids!

  1. Hello there, I’ve just been reading some of your poetry, and I really like it. It’s simple yet powerful. Looking forward to reading more of what you write 🙂
